Born Pretty Store Red Seashell Charms Review

Happy hump day readers, hope your work week is flying by too.

I have another goodie from Born Pretty Store to share with you all. I'm sure I sound like a broken record but in case you've never heard of Born Pretty Store, it is an online e-shop that sells a variety of products, but mainly a large selection of nail art at really great, modest prices.

The product I have today on the blog are the Red Seashell 3D Charms (item #21828), they come in a pack of 5 and are priced at $3.28USD but is currently marked down to $1.99 USD. I received style 1189, the red seashells. On the product page, Born Pretty Store provides picures of the charms they have available and also the measurments of every different style they offer.

I thought that the charm looked really cute and nicely made but I felt that they were on the large side and looked kinda awkward on my nail. Also the flatness of the charm made it more difficult to adhere to the nail because the edges stuck up awkwardly and would easily catch onto things. I only wish that the charm could've been slightly curved or slightly flexiable so the user would have the capability to custom fit the charm according to curviness of their nails. I understand that that would be pretty difficult to do, to make a sturdy charm yet thin enough for it to flex. So, a lot of topcoat would be needed to secure the charm or a gel or acrylic overlay of some sort would secure the charm nicely without you worrying it will snag on something.

These charms can also be used for things other than nail art, they can be used to decorate your home, cell phone/electronics devices and other types of crafts.

  1. Though I love the idea of it, I'm sorry it didn't work out better for you. They do seem quite large, don't they? It seems more like a charm for a piece of jewelry.
